No, #3 wasn't within 10 yards of the winner, Meghan,#1, won the California State 1500m Championship by over a second.

I take it that you do not like the photo, I hope you are not
referring to my niece. She was seconds from starting the
California State Championship race and the image is of but a fleeting second as she readied herself for the race that gave her a scholarship for college.
